Athletics n. 竞技，田径运动
含义：‘track and field’events of running, jumping, throwing, etc.
这个单词大家常以为是体育运动的意思，但它更常用的是“田径运动”的含义。
Bob sleigh 雪车，雪橇
含义：Sport of making timed runs in a sled down a narrow, twisting, iced track.
Curling n. 冰壶
含义：Sport similar to bowls in which players slide heavy stones over ice, aiming at a target area.
Cycling n. 自行车运动
含义：sport of racing on bicycles.
Diving n. 跳水
含义：sport of jumping into water in a stylized manner.
Diving常用的是“潜水”的含义，但它也指“跳水”。
跳台可以用Platform，例如十米跳台即是“10-metre platform event”；跳板是springboard，例如3米跳板就是“3-metre springboard”。
Equestrian n. 马术
含义：of or relating to horseback riding.
马术是唯一一个不分性别、男女运动员一同竞技的奥运会项目哦！
Figure skating 花样滑冰
含义：sport involving the performance of stylized movements while wearing skates on ice.
双人花样滑冰是“pair figure skating”，单人花样滑冰是“single figure skating”.
Football n. 足球
含义：team game in which a ball is kicked in order to pass it and score goals; soccer.
足球应该是大家非常熟悉的一项运动了~不过球场上的足球裁判可不叫judge，而是“referee”哦！
Gymnastics n. 体操
含义：sport involving the performance of stylized exercises
体操又分为很多项目，例如鞍马-prommel horse, 高低杠-uneven bars, 平衡木-balance beam, 自由体操-floor exercise. 艺术体操-Gymnastics Rhythmic.
Hockey n. 曲棍球
含义：team game in which a ball is a hit with a stick in order to pass it and score goals.
Ice hockey 冰球
含义：team sport similar to hockey, but played in skates on an ice rink.
冰球，就是冰上的曲棍球，是不是很好记呢？
Rowing n. 赛艇运动
含义：sport of racing in rowboats
Sailing n. 帆船运动
含义：sport of racing in sailboats
Shooting n.射击运动
含义：sport of pistol and rifle shooting
